** despite the ugly snow and sleet, people came out in droves to mash down to the absolutely groovy music – another fine show full of awesome people and inspiring art! we were pleased to play host to:
Vaughan/McCormick Duotet
wielding a stand up bass and an electric guitar, these two gents got down to the elements of music. attacking the low end of dissonance dancing deftly through the classic licks of guitar, vaughan and mccormick entranced the crowd with their freewheeling jazz ways!
plainclothes
lo-fi fuzz with a smart back beat, plainclothes rocked our spot just right and channeled a dab of sonic youth. cresting basslines, guitar dexterity and a groove we couldn’t deny, these folks flayed our ears with awesome!
–
the bohemians recently removed the carpet in their venue, and have been having a fun time retuning the audio setup since! as such, this is another show with a sad lack of recording – we promise we’ll do better in the future! of course – you SHOULD come to the shows and enjoy in person, musicians love your love and we delight in your dancing! NOW DANCE!
alas – the house camera also took one for the team and is no longer operable – so please hook us up if you were there and shutterbugging! cheers
